Robocop (1987) Auto 9 Prop Information

Introduction

I’d really love to have a replica of Robocop’s pistol from the 1987 classic film by Paul Verhoeven. It’s on my list of props I’d love to have.

The Auto 9 was built on a Beretta 93R, an automatic pistol created for the Italian police and millitary. The pistol was modified a great deal for the film with an extended barrel and underbarrel, compensator and large fore and rear sights.

Discovering the dimensions and specs of the Beretta 93R will make it easier to create a replica of the Auto 9.
